The RSP-1582 utilizes six Wolfson 24bit/192kHz devices which are arrayed as four independent DACs for Front Left, Front Right, Center and Subwoofer channels with shared stereo DACs for the rear channels. This topology offers exemplary performance all around, but provides the absolute best quality on the most critical channels.

What do I need to run additional zone speakers off my Rotel receiver or processor?
Many Rotel receivers and processors support up to 4 independet rooms (or zones) of audio. To expand beyond the main room, you will need at least one additional amplifier such as the RMB-1506 or RMB-1512 to power the extra speakers.
Also, if you are only running a 5.1 speaker system with the RSX-1560 or RSX-1562, the additional 2 channels of the built in amplifiers on this model can be redirected to power one of the additional zones in the system.

What formats will my Rotel CD player handle?
All Rotel CD players can read Red Book audio CDs, or CDRs that are burned with standard CD audio tracks. However, we cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with every CDR due to the large differences in media and CD writers available.
