Video transcoding provides the option to take a signal such as component and change it to HDMI. This feature is desired if you have multiple video source components with different outputs. You can transcode to one HDMI output to send to the video display. Depending on the HDMI version of your system though, you may not be able to send audio over the HDMI cable and will require a separate connection for that.

The front panel USB input supports Bluetooth streaming with the supplied Bluetooth USB dongle. The front panel USB input can also be used for playing MP3, WMA, WAV or Ogg Vorbis files stored on any class 2 memory device. Thumb drives, SD cards and other class 2 memory storage devices are compatible however those with less than 1GB of memory will function better.

Before unplugging a device from the front USB we recommend pressing the Stop button on the remote control or the front of the product for a couple of seconds and then select "Yes" when it says "Safe to Remove".

The RR-AT92, RR-AT94 and RR-AT97 Remote Controls included with many Rotel stereo products are designed as basic system remotes, with the capabilities to control the basic functions of Rotel CD Players and Tuners.  In its default configuration, these remotes can control the basic functions of these models (in addition to the Rotel integrated amplifiers/preamplifiers the remote is included with):

*To program the remote for this tuner, press the POWER and 2 buttons on the remote simultaneously.  To program it back to control the other tuners, press POWER and 1 simultaneously.
