Can the Tuner be controlled from Zone 2?
Yes, all zones can have basic control of tuner to change preset stations, tune up or down or switch bands, regardless of whether or not the tuner is also being used in the main zone.

Do I need to be connected to the internet to use this product?
It is not necessary to have an internet connection to use the built in CD player or FM tuner of the RCX-1500, as well as the Aux 1, Aux 2 or front USB inputs. However, all other inputs do require a working internet connection. Do note that while the FM tuner does not draw its signal from the internet, it is a part of the internet radio module therefore will not start if one of the USB dongles is not physically connected to the unit.

Do Rotel CD players read SACD discs?
Our CD players do not support SACD decoding, and can only play back those SACDs that provide a standard CD format track in addition to the SACD track (aka Hybrid SACDs).

Do Rotel DVD players support 3:2 pulldown?
All Rotel DVD players in the 10 series do support 3:2 pulldown for film sourced DVDs.

Do Rotel internet radio tuners also receive HD Radio?
No, we do not support this feature. However, most HD Radio stations are also available on Internet radio.

Do you offer replacement belts for your turntables?
Unfortunately, due to the age of most Rotel turntables, our supply of replacement belts has run out. However, there are several good aftermarket suppliers that can most likely provide you with a suitable replacement. Below are a few of the suppliers we are aware of who stock replacement belts:

Does my Rotel model offer a Sleep Timer?
Yes, several models feature an Auto Power Down Timer option that will allow the unit to power off automatically after a specified period of time with no signal or activity.
The default power off setting is 20 minutes of inactivity for products sold in the UK and EU. All other regions default the power off timer to Disabled.
In either case above, the timer setting can be easily set or disabled via the Setup menu for the unit.

Does the Phono input of my Rotel device accept a Moving Magnet or Moving Coil signal?
All Rotel products that include a Phono input will work with a turntable using a Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge. Select Rotel models also offer an option to work with Moving Coil (MC) style cartridges.
If Moving Coil is supported, there will be a small switch on the rear panel of the Rotel device to switch between the two types.
