¿Por qué Rotel no es compatible con THX?
Cuando se presentó por primera vez, THX lanzó un conjunto de normas fijas que ayudaban a fomentar un mejor sonido de cine. Los fabricantes que querían tener este logo en su producto tenían que someterlo a THX para la prueba y certificación. Actualmente, ha cambiado de propietario y las normas han evolucionado para incluir diferentes niveles de rendimiento. Aunque al principio era un símbolo genuino de «buenas prácticas» para los componentes de cine, no tiene el mismo estatus hoy día y muchos fabricantes, incluido Rotel, no creen que añada más que una cuota de licencia adicional para el equipo.
Why does the Network Wakeup option no longer appear in the Rotel menu?
The Network Wakeup option was a feature that kept the network circuits active while the rest of the unit was in Standby mode so the device could be powered on over a network connection using IP control.
Recent power regulations mandate that while in Standby mode a product can draw no more than 3W of power and will further lower the maximum allowed draw to 2W in 2019.
As a result of these new regulations, it is regrettably no longer possible to retain power to the network circuitry while in standby mode as this would draw above the maximum allowed power. The Network Wakeup option has been removed from the setup menu for units sold in the UK and EU markets.

Why does the Quick Power Mode option no longer appear in the Rotel menu?
The Quick Power mode option was a feature that kept the network circuits active while the rest of the unit was in Standby mode so the device could be powered on over a network connection using IP control.
Recent power regulations mandate that while in Standby mode a product can draw no more than 3W of power and will further lower the maximum allowed draw to 2W in 2019.
As a result of these new regulations, it is regrettably no longer possible to retain power to the network circuitry whilst in standby mode as this would draw above the maximum allowed power. The Power Mode option has been removed from the setup menu for units sold in the UK and EU markets.

Why does the unit power off when listening to an analog input?
Several Rotel models feature an Auto Power Down Timer option that will allow the unit to power off automatically after a specified period of time with no signal or activity.
In certain Stereo models, the sleep timer circuitry cannot detect analog signals and so it reacts as if the unit is not in use and shuts down after the timer expires.
The default power off setting is 20 minutes of inactivity for products sold in the UK and EU markets - this setting is based on a recent EU requirement to reduce power consumption. All other regions default the power off timer to Disabled.
In either case above, the timer setting can be easily set or disabled via the Setup menu for the unit. We would recommend disabling this feature if you intend to use the device with analog sources such as Turntable or a Tuner.

¿Por qué el control remoto del RR-969 cambia las fuentes en mi modelo Rotel?
Las dos filas superiores de botones del mando a distancia de RR-969 no se usan para cambiar las fuentes en el dispositivo Rotel, se usan para seleccionar los diferentes dispositivos en su sistema que su RR-969 está programado para controlar.

¿Por qué el nombre de la fuente de la derecha de la pantalla frontal cambia cuando se cambia la entrada?
La fuente de la derecha de la pantalla frontal es la fuente de grabación. Estos modelos permiten grabar de forma simultánea de una fuente mientras oyen otra, usando una de las salidas de grabación disponibles (Tape Out, Video 1-3 Out). La fuente de grabación puede cambiarse presionando el botón REC en el panel frontal seguido de la fuente deseada o el botón ZONE o REC del mando a distancia suministrado.

¿Por qué hay una conexión de entrada y una de salida de señal de disparo de 12 V?
Esto se ofrece por comodidad si el sistema tiene más componentes que usen una conexión de señal de disparo de 12 voltios que salidas disponibles de señal de disparo de 12 voltios desde el preamplificador. La salida de señal de disparo de 12 voltios del amplificador permite que la señal de disparo de 12 voltios se conecte en cadena del amplificador a otro componente.

¿Por qué mi reproductor de DVD RDV-1092 o RDV-1093 mejora el componente de vídeo a 1080p?
El componente de vídeo puede soportar una resolución máxima de 1080i. Se necesita una conexión HDMI para visualizar una señal de vídeo de 1080p. De forma adicional, muchas películas en DVD están protegidas contra copias, lo cual limita la resolución de vídeo analógica máxima permitida a 480p para discos con protección de copias a no ser que se utilice una conexión HDMI.
